"Miss Bad Kitty's Bike Night"
I rolled down the 405 this Tuesday afternoon and exited Cherry Ave and then west to World Famous Curley's Cafe in Signal Hill just north of the Long Beach Airport. Since 1932 Curley's has been servin' up fine foods and spirits to a rowdy crowd. In the early days it was the riggers and hands of the local booming oil industry. Today the rowdy crowds are as loud as their pipes and on Tuesday Nights the parking lot is full of new metric cruisers, well ridden pan-heads and all-out bobbed sleds.

Caral Kimbell (pictured at right on the left) from Los Angeles Harley Davidson is the MC, or if I can say the Hostess with the Mostest. She's Miss Bad Kitty and keeps the crowd pleasantly entertained throughout the evening with announcements, awards and raffle.

Curley's has an outdoor patio which hangs over the parking area where you can enjoy a cold beer and mingle over the railing. The parking lot is crowded with friends and groups from the Hub City Ladies, patch wearin' brothers, to the sunday cruisers.

This Bike Night is the best one I have been to, with plenty of entertainment in the parking lot, cool vendors such as Donnie and Chris from the Lightning Smoke Shop on Bellflower Blvd. If you missed their table, you can call on Don at 562-925-1898 and ask about the wicked three bladed brass knuckles (see pic on page 03).

Get there early. The first 25 bikes are entered into a drawing for $50.00! They have a raffle and 50/50. Cool prizes that were grouped together like custom Hot Wheels with a T-Shirt from shops like Cyclepath Cycle. Proceeds from the raffle supports; For The Child Foundation.

So get on that Pig this Tuesday and maybe I will see you at Bike Night!
