February 2004

First of all I would like to state that I am still alive and well. I have been caught up with the day to day, paycheck to paycheck, lifestyle and have neglected my readers. What has brought me back to the keyboard is some very good news.

Let me introduce you to the newest member of the Riding Writers of the bike-shows family. The founder of this site, my brother, Tony has just taken possession of a 2004 Road King and has a grin from ear to ear. I remember my first ride on my own Harley Davidson, as all of you readers will upon reading this, and I can't be happier for you Tony.

What this will mean for the visitors to the bike-shows web site is that we now have writers covering both Northern California where I live and now Southern California where Tony lives. More good news to come..... Tony's boy Billy has ordered a 2004 Road King with a new Harley Side-Car. The side-car delays the delivery to sometime in April. He may get it in time for the Laughlin River Run. Billy has been helping Tony out with the bike-shows web site and the car-shows web site and has been a rider for years but lately has been without a bike. I bet he is squirming in anticipation of picking up his new HD as well.
All is good. Look for our three 'kings at the Sturgis Rally.
