RIDERS RANT

CRAZY ASS DRIVERS!
I put loud barking straight fishtails and spotlamps on my Road King Custom so the drivers will hear and see me better. Two months ago I got hit on the freeway and that prompted a re-build of the real red road king and transformed it to the award winning bike it is today. (Go to: T-Wrecks to learn more)

I don't know if it is just post-crash jitters, but the freeways seem to be loaded with crazy-ass drivers and one of my bro's suggested that all drivers should ride a bike to see how it is. I dunno about that idea. On our way to the Sidecar Rally a guy lost control on a relatively calm Sunday morning 5 frwy in LA and about took us all out in the process.

Keep an eye out for those bastards and ride that pig!

EVENT T-SHIRT RIPOFF
When are ride event T-Shirts worth $50.00? OH MY GOD. Why is the American Diabetes Association going to TRY and charge $50.00 for an event shirt after charging us $25.00 each to attend the first annual Northern California Rip's B.A.D. Ride? Don't they understand the cost I already incur by having this disease and owning a Harley Davidson????
ALSO:
I've got a bone to throw to you all. If you want to commit suicide, don't use a MOTORCYCLE. It's not fair to the bike. Suicide is a devastating act to begin with, don't tarnish the motorcycling community by letting the press get ahold another slandering story. Recently here in Northern California we had a rider lost for 9 days before we discovered that the rider left a helmet at the side of the road and then rode off an eight hundred foot cliff. Sadly the family lost by all accounts a great person, and the motorcycling community lost a true friend, but the press got to write "MISSING BIKER DROVE OFF CLIFF". the motorcycling community looked long and hard for this person and there search was in vain and unnecessary.
My sincere condolences to the family.
I'll see ya at the next event down the road, whether it's Hot Rods or Harleys.
